This service is only available for prescriptions that have been previously issued through De Silva Medical and do not require further assessment from a healthcare professional. Submit a request through the booking system.
When you are issued a private prescription, please note that you will need to pay the full cost of the medication directly to the community pharmacy. The exact price you pay is determined by the pharmacy and is based on the actual commercial cost of the drug itself. Additionally, individual pharmacies may charge a small administrative or dispensing fee for processing a private prescription. We highly recommend checking with your chosen pharmacist beforehand for a price quote, as medication costs can vary between different pharmacy chains and independent retailers.

While most UK councils accept a certified assessment from any registered GP, some specific councils require the check to be completed by your own NHS practice, or may explicitly require a physical, in-clinic examination.
